Teachers Unions Not To Obey The Decision Of President Akuffo Addo Over The Reopening of Schools – quicktrendnews

The Ghana Teachers union have decided to defy the reopening of Schools by the Government if implemented.

They said that if the deadline on the closure of all public and Private Schools which is 31st May, 2020 is not being extended and rather the Akuffo Regime decides to reopen Schools they will not accept.

Looking at the Exponential increase of the Pandemic and Schools being the place where Students and Teachers Associate with each other most of the time they will not expose the students and their staff to such Danger

Currently Ghana’s Cases is getting towards 6,000. The deadly virus is getting serious in the country and such decisions will would be irrational.
