One killed and 25 injured in high-speed train collision in Germany | World News

One person has been killed and 25 more injured in a collision between a high-speed train and a truck in Germany.

Six of the injured were in a serious condition after the crash at a level crossing outside the city of Hamburg on Tuesday.

A 55-year-old passenger died at the scene.

Almost 300 people were on board the train when it collided with the truck that was loaded with rails.

It was not immediately clear what led to the accident. The truck driver was taken in for questioning.
