The majority leader in Parliament Mr Kyei Mensah Bonsu following the EC’s Data servicing system issue told us that the EC ( Electoral commission ) paid and amount $28 million for the servicing of its data system and the work was not done.

The EC as at 2012 under the leadership of Mr. Afari Gyan signed an agreement with a data servicing company for a period of 7 years each with a payment of $4million.

He said , from 2012 up to 2018 whom the EC Charlotte Osei was appointed there hasn’t been any touch to the data system and all these amount of money loss to the state could have served as the nation’s savings.

He concluded, there should be a forensic audit on the loss to deal with the culprits and to serve as Admonishment to the corrupt men and women in the country.
